Dinner Plate | Crater Lake
This hand-built dinner plate has a classic feel. These dinner plates are large and substantial enough for the dinner party of your dreams. The lip on the plate is perfect for containing sauces. *These are ‘seconds’ pieces due to each having small glaze imperfections on the rim; please see detail photos.
Specifications: ~9.25” wide x .75” tall
Glaze Description: ‘Crater Lake’ is inspired by the deepest lake in the United States (formed when Mount Mazama (a volcano) collapsed ~7,700 years ago). It’s hard to articulate the majesty of Crater Lake, and this glaze is my ode to its beauty. A deep, dynamic teal glaze is meant to represent the blue water.

A Note About Handmade Pottery:
Your Hey Sunny pottery was made by hand in my home studio, which means that every piece is uniquely its own. While I strive for consistency in each collection, it is understood that each item has character; a personality that can’t come from mass-produced goods. I work hard to source quality clays, mix custom glazes, and create designs that represent my heart. Being made from my heart means you’re getting a human-made piece that might vary in size or glaze application.
