Trail Tumbler | Caldera | Seconds

$24.00
Sold Out

This piece is a seconds. The cup is perfect in size/shape, but there is a small fleck of clay (1/4 size grain of rice) stuck to the inside/bottom. Does not impact the functionality of the tumbler.

I created the Trail Tumbler to be the perfect everyday cup. This piece has been wheel-thrown, using stoneware clay. With a thoughtful, straight-sided design, this tumbler is easy to hold and it’ll fit nicely in your hand. The hand-dipped top and bottom gives the tumbler even more character.

Think forward to iced coffee on your desk, rosé on the patio, or how beautiful it’ll look on floating shelves. From drinks to pens, this tumbler is made for whatever you have in mind.

The Tumbler is approximately 3” wide x 4.75” tall. Holds about 12 ounces.

Please note: this piece is made to order. Allow 3 to 4 weeks while I create your pottery. You will receive an email once it ships.

Glaze Description: ‘Caldera’ is inspired by Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States (formed when Mount Mazama (a volcano) collapsed ~7,700 years ago). It’s hard to articulate the majesty of Crater Lake, and this glaze combo is my ode to its beauty. A warm amber matte glaze combined with a deep, dynamic teal glaze are meant to represent the deep blue water and the rugged terrain around it.

A Note About Handmade Pottery:

Your Hey Sunny pottery was made by hand in my home studio, which means that every piece is uniquely its own. While I strive for consistency in each collection, it is understood that each item has character; a personality that can’t come from mass-produced goods. I work hard to source quality clays, mix custom glazes, and create designs that represent my heart. Being made from my heart means you’re getting a human-made piece that might vary in size or glaze application.

I’m so happy to announce that you can now find Garden Club goods at @craftywonderland!! I dropped off orders at their Downtown and Alberta Street locations today. Such a joy to partner with other businesses in this little town of ours. 💛 Feels
Two more days before Summer Break starts. Sweet, green, special, warm, busy days have made up the last month. Grateful, grateful.
Meet Daffodil!! This glaze is a golden pop of joy inspired by lemon zest, a garden full of marigolds, soft light through linen curtains, and yellow petals in bloom. 🌼

This bright yellow hue is my love letter to sunlight, summer, and slow living ...
