Caldera Nesting Bowls | Sample
Sample!! These two nesting bowls are perfect serving dishes. This set is handmade from clay slabs. They have so much character: slightly out of round with an organic edge. Each bowl has a foot ring to elevate the base off of your surfaces.
Glaze Description: ‘Caldera’ is inspired by Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States (formed when Mount Mazama (a volcano) collapsed ~7,700 years ago). It’s hard to articulate the majesty of Crater Lake, and this glaze combo is my ode to its beauty. A warm amber matte glaze combined with a deep, dynamic teal glaze are meant to represent the deep blue water and the rugged terrain around it.
Large Bowl: 7.75”x3”
Medium Bowl: 6.25”x2”
Samples are items that are perfectly functional, and have been a part of the design process. Please note uneven glaze application on the bottom of the large bowl (not visible when bowl is upright) and the clay fold lines (not cracks) on the inside of the small bowl. Priced accordingly.
